Our client is an FMCG producer with a tight team.
Job Description
In liaison with Management Accountant analyse and investigate weekly variances on PampL.
Preparation of daily KPI and analyse and investigate variances.
In conjunction with Operations conduct mass balance projects to identify areas of material loss in the businesss processes.
Prepare new product costing and profitability assessment for consideration by the Commercial team.
Maintain and evaluate existing standard cost models.
Develop excellent working knowledge of Tropos and its functions.
Person Specification
You should be either part or fully AAT qualified. An understanding of an FMCG environment would be a distinct advantage. You will be assisting in adhoc projects as well as assisting in the information required to produce management accounts. Therefore this would suit a candidate who has either cost accounting background or someone who has spent time in a processing role studied the theory and looking for that next step.
