Job Description :
We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Assistant for our client in Yeovilton. You will be working for an organisation providing maintenance services to the MOD across the southwest.
Your duties will include assisting the Finance Team Leader with the accurate and timely production of the month end Accounts and any reports required for the Account Director. You will also be able to assist with weekly Cash Book production for central finance and Bank account reconciliation assist the Finance Team Leader with Purchase Ledger and payroll issues and reconcile the monthly Balance Sheet Control Accounts whilst investigating outstanding balances and anomalies.
Our client is looking for a candidate who is customer focused with previous Accounting experience. You will ideally be an assistant / part qualified accountant level candidate AAT qualified or have some other relevant financial qualification. Also preferably with some past Purchase Ledger knowledge/experience.
In return you will receive a generous salary package. The hours are 37.5 per week the role is based in an MOD site so you will be required to undergo security clearance
