Our client is a high profile national retailer seeks an Accounts Assistant to join the
finance team based in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for an
accounting trainee to join an experienced finance team with exceptional
opportunities for career progression and development.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable supervisor your responsibilities will
include
Accounts Payable
Ensuring effective control and management of allocated supplier
accounts agreeing balances and work jointly with Suppliers to resolve
account issues promptly
Ensure the timely processing of all invoices credit notes debit
notes and other paperwork efficiently and accurately
Ensure accuracy in the timely matching of all stock transactions
through the stock system
Project Work
Undertaking all financial project work associated with all
operational aspects of the business as requested
Work closely with the Commercial Finance team as necessary
The successful candidate will be looking to continue his/her accountancy
studies AAT CIMA or ACCA preferably with retail experience or experience
gained in a high volume AP team.
