Assistant Accountant

This fantastic American owned company are seeking a capable individual to undertake a diverse role and act as the main point of contact for all external and internal queries
It is therefore a prerequisite of the position that you havestrong communication skills as you will be the voice of the accounts department together with anoutgoing personality
You will assist the Accountant in all aspects of Accounts including

Processing expenses EurosSterlingSwiss francs and Dollars
Managing the accounts payable and recievables ledgers
Operation of the Petty cash and Cash book
Undertaking creditcontrol and nominal ledger
Balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliation
Month end variance analyses
Assisting the accountant with management accounts.preparation
Experience of Excel and Iris is preferred but not essential
